Terry is a member of the Vineyard Church of Columbus Ohio who entered the mission field of Brazil in February of 2009. On his first trip in June of 2004, the Lord called him to work “for the children” of Amazon River basin. For the next three years, he continued to go on short-term mission trips with his church confirming this is God’s will for his life.

Terry has been serving the Vineyard Church of Columbus since 2002. During this time, he served in Alpha, the Connect One ministry, grief ministry, homeless ministry, and children’s ministry. Having a heart for the children he served as a teacher to the children of Joshua House for over four years. During this time, he also taught countless lessons to the first through fourth grade children of Kids Quest. He also helped as a puppeteer in the puppet ministry, which caters to the preschool children.

The Lord has placed it on his heart to establish and mentor Brazilian teams to take the good news of Jesus to the children in the remote river villages. He wants to reach the parents by involving their children in Biblical skits and acting them out in their village. It is his hope that through this they can plant healthy churches in these remote areas.
Terry loves the river people of Brazil and their culture. He dose not want to change it but for those who want help with their illiteracy he want to provide a means. For those who want more than a fourth grade education, where education is available, he hopes to make the resources obtainable. There are many other aspects of education on his heart. He knows he can only do what God’s will for the area and he also know he cannot do it without your prayers and support.

Prayerfully seek God’s guidance in teaming up with Terry or any of the missionaries of the Xingu Mission in Brazil as they expand His kingdom.
