Marabá Region
The Lord has given us a very strategic, twelve acre, river frontage property in Marabá. We are developing these grounds to become a Leadership Training Centre where Brazilians can come, get equipped, and go back to their cities and villages as more effective church planters and christian leaders.

Marabá is one of the fastest growing cities in Brazil with a projected growth rate of 16% per year. Many of these people have left their families and are ready to make new friends and give life a fresh start. Thirty surrounding cities and a vast interior region rely on Marabá for it's transportation hubs, it's regional hospital, it's universities and it's shopping. It is a natural thing, then, for a Brazilian pastor or church worker to come to Marabá for an intensive course, to get more equipped for their work.

We are developing this acreage into a campus, a retreat from the rush of the city and the world, a place where people can learn to connect with God and with each other. Our first church plant is with our immediate neighbours. With leaders developed from here we will move out as God enables us. We are planning and preparing for a Twelve Week intensive training opportunity each year for river pastors and potential leaders and missionaries, a resource which will be available to everyone connected with the Igreja da Vinha churches.

We plan to plant several city churches in Marabá, each one passionate about church planting and working together as a team to spread the good news about the Kingdom of God to the remote interior communities of this vast region.
